Biography
Early Years & The Lacrima Incident
Thomas was born into the high-society nobility of Estrelle, the only child of Lord Thomas and his first wife—a highly accomplished clockwork maker mage. From infancy, Thomas was an anomaly; while most newborn aristocrats severely struggled to breathe within the thick, smog-filled industrial atmosphere of Estrelle, the young boy thrived in it. Recognizing his native comfort with atmospheric carbon, his mother quickly identified his awakening magical core and began instructing him on emotional restraint.
When his powers first manifested as a toddler, Thomas delighted in spitting compressed spheres of soot and smoke at household objects. To protect him from political exploitation, his parents aggressively concealed his abilities. He spent his early childhood insulated within the private estate gardens, reading beneath a magnificent Estrellan Peach Tree cultivated by his mother.
This peaceful existence was shattered when Thomas was six years old. A professional slaver circle ambushed the estate, abducting both the young lordling and his mother. The Dogs of the Crown, The Sweorta Operation, and Rowan
Thomas's peerless operational capacity and absolute mastery over localized smog vectors caught the attention of the state's highest intelligence tier. He was directly scouted and inducted into the Dogs of the Crown, the elite imperial division tasked with carrying out deniable wetwork, asset extraction, and structural security for the throne.

After becoming mated to Rowan, Thomas adopted Rowan's son, Connor Drayke, when Connor was ten years old. Connor grew up happy and loved, loves both fathers, and is very fond of Thomas's gryphon, Red.

Following the murder of his mother at age six, Thomas had spent six agonizing years completely isolated, losing himself to deep, consuming grief and a hollow silence, completely unable to find any source of grounding in the world.

The creature was a Gryphon named Red, who had been born as the absolute runt of his litter. Exceptionally small, weak, and physically vulnerable at the time, the young beast was facing starvation.
Sensing a perfect emotional and spiritual mirror in the isolated animal, the twelve-year-old Thomas stepped forward. In an instant, a rare, profound cosmic bond ignited between the young lordling and the runt gryphon. They chose one another unconditionally. For Thomas, Red became his first and only true grounding source, anchoring his fractured life force and drawing him out of his years of traumatic silence.
Over the subsequent decades, Red defied all biological constraints imposed by his early development. Nurtured by Thomas's high-density smoke currents and specialized diets, Red completely outgrew his runt phenotype, maturing into a colossal, magnificent crimson apex predator. Featuring brilliant fire-red plumage, an immense wingspan, and absolute aerial dominance, Red functions as a co-equal combat partner to Thomas. He flew alongside Thomas during his deployment into the Dogs of the Crown and through the dangerous airspace of Sweorta, seamlessly operating as an unbreakable extension of Thomas’s own will on the battlefield.
Trivia & Personal Habits
- Story-Telling Defiance: Whenever Thomas is kidnapped by political rivals, he completely refuses to fight or beg. Instead, he drops into a completely flat tone and drones on with hyper-detailed, never-ending, and deeply monotonous stories. This psychological warfare is so intense that his abductors routinely drive him back to the family estate and turn themselves in to the authorities just to escape his voice.
- The Peach Tree Sanctuary: Despite his global tactical travels, Thomas maintains an absolute reverence for the specific peach tree his mother raised him under, considering its fruit and soil to be hallowed ground.
Imperial role and household
Thomas is an Imperial Prince of Estrelle, an operative of the Dogs of the Crown and Estrelle Airwolves, and the Peach Tree Liaison. He combines public princely duties with covert intelligence work and Smoke Dragonkyn heritage. He and Rowan Drayke are husbands; Connor Drayke is their son, adopted by Thomas at age ten.
Thomas has tousled auburn or chestnut-brown hair with copper highlights and amber-gold eyes. His formal clothing combines black-and-gold noble tailoring, a white shirt and burgundy cravat, while his covert attire includes dark leather armor and a hood.
