Biography and Family
The Triplets
Tomo is one of the triplet sons of Hestor Adom Kedanza and Kaleb Pradesh. Hestor carried and gave birth to Tomo, Kuzu, and Jareth during a year-long deployment in Stella.
Before completing the dangerous trials associated with the Hall of Two Truths, Hestor arranged a custody pact for the triplets. If he failed to master the Hall before his twenty-third birthday, custody would transfer to Kaleb.
Inherited Animal Traits
The animal traits manifested by Tomo and his triplet brothers derive from Hestor's Stellan bloodline and his priestly connection to Anubis. They do not originate from Kaleb's genetic inheritance.
Younger Siblings
Sarah Pradesh and Nijel Pradesh are the triplets' younger siblings and fellow children of Kaleb and Hestor. Sarah is a Lacrima Mage and Lady of the Lacrima; Nijel is a Mindbender Morning Star Mage and Heir of White Sea.

Frozen Roses (unpublished)
The following material is drawn from Frozen Roses, an unpublished story concerning the second generation of characters. It will be published at a later date. Events here belong to the manuscript's chronology and may depict younger stages than the later profiles elsewhere on this page.
Keeper and mentor
Tomo regards guiding and protecting Shadowquips and Void Angels as his vocation. His responsibilities require composure: he describes learning not to startle or show fear so that he can help his charges. He still enjoys swimming, diving, riding, and ordinary family activities.
He recognizes that Rembrant Pradesh's Twilight specialization needs instruction in light as well as shadow. Since Vander cannot provide all of that training, Tomo arranges for Yana Belarian to mentor Rembrant. Tomo's care for him combines keeper responsibilities with the personal connection that later develops between them.
Tomo is close to Vander and remains one of the people whose guidance Loni Pradesh accepts. He sometimes needs rest after her nights spent keeping watch. The story presents him as a calm intermediary when difficult news must be brought to the adults.
Beasts of Seven (unpublished draft)
The following details come from the Beasts of Seven manuscript set, which is not yet published in its final form. Numbered document labels identify draft sources, not published AO3 chapters. Events describe the manuscript's chronology and may differ from later character profiles.
Advocacy for Cida's family
After Vander enters Seven's sealed military records to locate Cida's missing children, Tomo argues that the information should be used to help her find them. Nuryev releases the records but initially keeps Tomo in Seven as assurance that Vander will return to serve the required sentence. The episode shows Tomo's Keeper responsibilities extending to advocacy for the families of those in his care. (Beasts 8.)
White Sea story
At the births of Cida's younger children, Tomo recognizes Aldebrand as a Void Tiger and accepts the new children as his charges. Aldebrand, Loni and Rembrant bring three new Void Angels into his care. Yana explains that Rembrant's rare Twilight abilities will make his teaching particularly challenging. (White Sea, Chapter 40.)
