Kuzu is powerful, calm, thoughtful, and compassionate. His priestly outlook emphasizes honoring life, protecting the faithful, and guiding souls with compassion. His future wife is Loni Pradesh.

Appearance

Kuzu stands 6 ft 4 in (193 cm) tall and has an athletic, muscular build. He appears to be in his mid-twenties. His features include long dark-brown hair, golden eyes, tanned skin, and tall black jackal ears.

His priestly attire combines white and black fabrics with elaborate gold jewelry and blue gemstones. Ankh motifs and Egyptian-style ceremonial weapons feature prominently in his presentation.

Personality

Kuzu combines considerable power with a calm and thoughtful disposition. Compassion is central to his identity and his approach to religious service. He is depicted both attending temple duties and caring gently for his animal companions.

His philosophy is expressed in the statement:

To serve Anubis is to honor life, protect the faithful, and guide all souls with compassion.

Biography and Family

The Triplets

Kuzu is one of the triplet sons of Kaleb Pradesh and Hestor Adom Kedanza. His brothers are Jareth and Tomo Takida. Hestor carried and gave birth to the triplets during a year-long deployment in Stella.

Hestor arranged a custody pact before completing the dangerous trials associated with the Hall of Two Truths. Under its terms, custody of the triplets would pass to Kaleb if Hestor failed to master the Hall before his twenty-third birthday.

Anubian Heritage

Kuzu's jackal features are associated with Hestor's Stellan bloodline and priestly ties to Anubis. The animal traits manifested by the triplets derive from Hestor's lineage rather than Kaleb's genetic inheritance.

Priesthood

The Takida Bloodline directory identifies Kuzu among the second-generation heirs as a future High Priest of Anubis and a genetically altered Treasure. His later profile presents him holding the office of High Priest of Anubis.

Magic and Equipment

Anubian Summoning

Kuzu practices Anubian Summoning. He is depicted summoning the Anubrey, jackal-headed figures associated with his religious and magical role.

Weapons

Kuzu's equipment includes Egyptian-style weapons such as a khopesh, spear, and staff. Their ornamentation incorporates gold, dark metal, blue gemstones, and sacred motifs.

Companions

Kuzu's companions include the Anubrey and sphynx cats. His reference depicts the cats alongside him in temple surroundings, reflecting his compassionate disposition.

Relationships

Frozen Roses (unpublished)

The following material is drawn from Frozen Roses, an unpublished story concerning the second generation of characters. It will be published at a later date. Events here belong to the manuscript's chronology and may depict younger stages than the later profiles elsewhere on this page.

Training and family life

Kuzu and Tomo undertake substantial preparation for their future responsibilities. He remains a calm presence among the children, works on school and art projects, and shows a patient interest in Loni Pradesh rather than treating her intensity as something incomprehensible.

Loni identifies him as someone she can trust and describes him as a balancing emotional influence. During a quiet coloring session, Kuzu gives her clear instructions and space to participate. Their childhood friendship is presented separately from the future marriage recorded in their later profiles.

Kuzu also helps explain the family's plans and guild life to the other children, including the purpose of White Sea's new branch in Enca. He continues to enjoy affectionate time with his parents and his animal companions.
