The Creation Myth
The following account is recorded across Ensla as a foundational myth of pre-history. Though lacking verifiable historical or empirical documentation, it remains a uniquely held, sacred cultural belief detailing the structural genesis of reality following the emergence of the Elder Gods.
The Dawn of Awareness
In the absolute beginning, the cosmos existed only as an endless, silent expanse of primordial dust. From this dark void, life did not merely grow; rather, awareness spontaneously awakened. This nascent consciousness was not a singular entity, but a multitude of distinct beings. Each possessed a unique personality and temperament—some were carefree and gentle, others careful, calculating, and defined by traits too numerous for mortal reckoning.
As they drifted through the darkened expanse of their home, they began to forge concepts to organize their existence. Among these was the duality of male and female, conceived to differentiate the softer, ethereal natures of their kind from the more rugged, unyielding personalities.
The Great Cosmic Council
According to folklore, the desire to manifest reality began with a simple, echoing exchange across the void:
"We should make something."
"Here we go again," another answered, accompanied by a titter of cosmic laughter.
They gathered around a grand table manifested from the darkness to deliberate their purpose.
"What should we create?"
"Realms. Many realms."
"How many?"
"As many as we like."
A soft, melodic voice cut through the discussion. The rugged beings turned their gaze to a figure of unparalleled beauty who strode toward the council table. Her eyes held the depth of the cosmos, her hair drifted like a wispy golden nebula, and her entire essence radiated gentleness.
"At least nine, I should think," she murmured.
The assembled beings pondered her words until a male with crimson eyes and a voice as cold as the primordial dark broke the silence.
"Why do we not form groups of nine? Each group shall create a realm."
The golden-haired female smiled brightly at the crimson-eyed male. She leaned toward him, nodding in agreement, before gracefully seating herself in his lap. Her lips lightly ghosted across his cheek before she stood to address the wider council, her eyes dancing with excitement.
"That sounds wonderful! That would make seven sets of nine realms! Are we agreed?"
"But what shall we manifest within them?"
"Why," she laughed softly, gesturing to the cosmos, "whatever we want!"
A calm, measured voice interjected from the edge of the table.
"Whatever we desire? Are you entirely certain of that?"
The female turned her attention to a deity whose hair shifted slowly as if caught in an ethereal wind, its red tendrils flaring into stark whites and deep blues.
"I mean... you desire a place of eternal conflict and battle, do you not?" she asked.
The wind-haired male nodded grimly. "I do."
"Then that shall be your designated realm! It is yours to shape."
"And how shall we interact with one another after we have departed to cultivate our respective domains?"
The woman brought a finger to her lips, mulling over the logistical bottleneck before snapping her fingers in sudden inspiration.
"I have it! We shall engineer two distinct, mirrored mortal realms: one blessed with profound magical powers, and one entirely without. Then, we shall forge a third domain—a sanctuary reserved exclusively for us to walk upon and speak with one another, for I fear the sheer weight of our absolute power will otherwise ruin the mortal spheres."
"And what shall you name them?"
Rocking on her feet, the goddess let out a low, melodic hum as she weighed the phonetics of creation.
"Ensla, Empyrie, and our sovereign sanctuary... **The Garden of the Heavens**. From our Garden, we shall maintain absolute access to the foundational realm the Makers first built: the **Kingdom Plane**."
A warm, deep chuckle resonated through the endless expanse, sealing the cosmic pact.
"Then it is agreed. Ensla and Empyrie shall serve as our collaborative canvases, where we shall work together to shape reality and breathe life into the beings within them."
The Sixty-Three and the First Gifts
Thus, the architectural creation of everything known to the peoples of both Ensla and Empyrie began. Sixty-three primeval beings united their creative forces, weaving life into the twin worlds. They populated the realms with a vast tapestry of life—some plain and mortal, some ethereal and grand.
To ensure their legacy endured, each of the sixty-three creator deities chose select mortal lineages to receive a fragment of their divine essence. These pristine blessings were woven directly into the bloodlines of the chosen, designed to pass down through generations, filling both worlds with the diverse and specialized magics known today.
This document catalogs the divine entities, cosmic architects, and localized deities who shape the metaphysical landscapes of Ensla and Empyrie. The pantheons are historically divided into the ancient, primordial Elder Gods and the subsequent generation of Younger Gods.
The Elder Gods of Stella
The Elder Gods represent the earliest manifestations of universal awareness following the dawn of creation. Operating from the celestial seat of Stella, these primordial entities hold absolute dominion over foundational concepts, elemental laws, and the primary magic lineages of the realm.
The Stellar Overlords
- Mehturt: The Mother of Life and the Morning Star. She is the primordial goddess of creation, cosmic order, and the stellar configurations. Her divine energy forms the absolute baseline infrastructure for both the Celestial Stars and the entire system of Summoning Magic.
- Ra: The supreme solar deity and the Elder God of the Sun. Wielding incandescent light and cosmic fire, his divine intervention directly engineered the creation of the Valkyrie vanguard during the Holy Wars.
- Set: The Elder God of Shadows. He governs the liminal space of the dusk and the final rays of fading daylight, serving as the cosmic origin point for twilight and primordial shadow manipulation. Furthermore, Set reigns as the supreme absolute patron deity of both Shadowquips and ascended Void Angels, anchoring their ability to draw power through ambient darkness and traverse the extraplanar voids.
- Anubis: The Elder God of Death and the Great Void. He commands the transition of souls and absolute termination, acting as the patron deity of the Evening Star Archangels (known historically as the Reapers of Anubis).
- Bastet: The Elder Goddess of Animals and Primal Fauna. She holds absolute dominion over the natural wild, green magic, and predatory instincts, providing the spiritual baseline for naturally occurring Shifters.
- Heset: The Divine Chef of the Gods. She is the patron goddess of culinary arts, sustenance, and the mystical properties woven into the preparation of food.
- Isis: The Goddess of the Hearth and Home. She provides absolute protection over domestic sanctuaries, familial bloodlines, and the grounding emotional links of the mortal realm.
- Horus: The Elder God of Kingship, the Sky, and Righteous Retribution.
- Osiris: The Lord of the Underworld, Cycles, and Resurrection.
Independent and Primordial Deities
- Bob: The Primordial Sovereign of Prehistory. Bob holds a highly unique, ancient dual-patronage over both prehistoric fauna (serving as the God of Dinosaurs) and the spatial mechanics of the cosmos (the God of Wormholes). His ancient reptilian genetic templates were perfectly preserved within Quill, the monolithic dinosaur shifter whom Kressa later exploited to breed her imperial wyverns. Bob's spatial mastery also governs the localized planar rifts utilized across the realms.
- Venus: The Celestial Goddess of Love, Beauty, and Compassion. Her divine blessing anchors the exceptionally rare Venusian Summoners and the genetic lineage of the Venusian Treasures.
- Hephaestos: The Master Architect and God of the Forge, Metallurgy, and Craftsmanship.
The Sovereign Patrons
- The Clockwork Queen: The supreme mechanical deity and absolute patron of the nation of Estrelle. Her divine calculations and blessing form the foundation of Estrelle's advanced engineering, steering the unique inheritance of the **Clockwork Dragonkyn**.
- Geopolitical Alignment: Beyond her sovereign rule in Estrelle, the Clockwork Queen is historically recognized as one of the two ruling Head Goddesses within the influential Loa Pantheon of Enca.
The Younger Gods
Emerging in the eras following the establishment of the Garden of the Heavens, the Younger Gods govern localized human concepts, emotional states, and direct martial interventions across Earth Land.
- Apollo: The God of Music, Archery, and Prophecy.
- Zeus: The God of the Sky, Lightning, and Sovereignty.
- Hera: The Queen of the Gods, Patroness of Marriage, and Imperial Bloodlines.
- Poseidon: The Sovereign of the Oceans, Deep Waters, and Seismology.
- Ares: The God of Brutal War, Bloodlust, and Physical Combat.
- Artemis: The Goddess of the Hunt, the Wilderness, and the Moon.
- Demeter: The Goddess of Agriculture, the Harvest, and Earthly Cycles.
- Hermes: The Herald of the Gods, Patron of Travelers, Commerce, and Thieves.
- Cupid: The Deity of Affection, Romantic Allure, and Sudden Attraction.
- Eros: The Deity of Passionate Affection, Desire, and Erotic Love. (Note: Metaphysically distinct and independent from Cupid).
