White Sea story
Eren is the pale-haired boy rescued from a barrel after the attack on the Dolfeini armada. His mother had placed him in it before returning to the fight. The memories recovered when Kaleb and Hestor mate establish that the brothers and Hestor knew one another in early childhood. (White Sea, Chapters 23 and 28.)
Stella identifies him as a Threes mage, whose precognition can be extended through increasingly demanding intervals. This gift and his relationship with Hatsuki shape his place as her consort and protector. (White Sea, Chapter 28.)
