Damascas

Damascas is a mountain city in Pergrand, ruled by Marquis Gregorian Damascas. It is the kingdom’s largest slave market and auction center.

Geography and architecture

The city lies south of Icefall, which protects it from the Icerend frontier. It is fully landlocked, with Tuscan-style architecture and no rivers, lakes, canals, fountains, waterfalls or other water features. Gregorian’s mansion stands west of the city in the foothills. The streets are considered safe despite the coercive trade conducted within the city.

Administration and trade

Businesses trading into or out of Pergrand register in Damascas. Slavers must register there to sell enslaved people legally. Gregorian oversees the city, slave yards, auction house and command center. The Damascas Knights are among Pergrand’s strongest forces and are loyal to him.

The house colors are dark navy and silver; the crest is a black dragon holding trade scales. Damascas also contains the largest stadium in the Pergrand Gladiator Circuit.
