Marie Alderis
Marie Alderis was an imperial noble of House Alderis, cousin of the Ortho Empress, and a master Celestial Summoner who lived during the Ortho Empire and the Holy Wars. One of humanity's six supreme anchors, she was the only surviving high-profile anchor when the others fell. Her exact age is unknown.
Appearance and personality
Marie stood 5'9" tall, with platinum-blonde hair and ice-blue eyes. Brilliant, ruthless, charismatic, and ambitious, she believed Archangel Mages should be bound and used as tools. She considered herself chosen by the spirit realm and above other women.
Magic and historical role
Marie wielded the Golden Zodiac Keys and enslaved Archangel Mages. She shaped the use of celestial power for imperial dominance and survived the Holy Wars when the other supreme anchors fell.
The existing Six Points and Keys of The Points records identify her as the historical Starbringer, associated with the Key of the Stars and the Golden Zodiac.
Legacy
Lucille Alderis seeks to surpass Marie's power and emulate her enslavement of Archangel Mages. Marie's role belongs to the history of House Alderis and the Ortho Empire, rather than the later family generation of Marla, Alexander, Laxus, and Lucille.
