Delilah Karadin is a daughter of Uram Karadin, born in 1775, and a Celestial Summoner. She survives severe abuse under Raimarc's rule and is smuggled to safety rather than killed.

Recovery in Frozen Roses

Delilah receives protection in Joya but continues to experience chronic pain, frailty, and sensitivity to cold. When Addison returns from his own training, he helps bring her to Bosco for magical healing, education, and a more secure life. He stays nearby during treatment while emphasizing that her decisions must remain her own.

She reconnects with Uram, Tylan, and Pyter and is welcomed by the extended clan at Eventide. Jareth brings her a pearl as part of that welcome. Rather than returning immediately to a cold climate or a highly visible role in Pergrand, she considers settling somewhere warm, including Pelerno.

Magic and education

Delilah initially believes she may be a Weaver. As her health improves and her magic becomes clearer, she is identified as a Celestial Summoner. She has no keys at that stage and expects to learn through Academe Celestine's programs.

Personality

Delilah is intelligent and perceptive despite the physical consequences of what she survived. She worries about becoming a symbol or a burden and values the chance to choose a future beyond her family's political needs.
