=== Birth and espionage ===
Louis explicitly describes himself as a '''Bellan-born natural stoat shifter''', distinguishing his birth origin from his service to Seven. His Phase Magic lets him pass through walls, and he remarks that he has sometimes obtained information before Vander and Presca could. He accompanies Nuryev's circle during the effort to clear Enca's remaining Darksiders. ''(DN 10.)''
