What is Technomancy?

When it comes to technology, it's often said that the human mind is the greatest inventor. Such is the way with Technomancy.

These are great minds that do tend to get lost in their work with tech, be it lacrima tech or standard tech.

Types of Technomancy

Technomancy comes in many sorts, from working with computers, to working with Lacrima, to working side by side with Archive mages as the two magics can be closely linked.

Where Archive Mages are the...programmers...Technomancers are the builders.

They create the physical, the Archive mages can create...the programs to run on the physical. that is not to say that a technomancer cannot do both, but by doing so, that starts them down a road of specialization.

Technomancy Vs Technopathy

what is the difference, many will ask and it is...birth.

A Technopath is born, a technomancer is a mage of a Light/Crystal/Metal based magic that has expanded to learn to use their magic to influence Tech.

Technopaths see the world very differently. the world is full of colors and lacrima...are not just stones to them. to a Technomancer, a lacrima is almost akin to another humanoid. they see the energy within the lacrima almost like a sentient being...and in the cases of larger, older ones - the Divine Crystals in Bosco, for example - they see a well formed being.

The longer a lacrima is handled, the longer it is used, the more the 'being' within the lacrima forms to a Technopath. Due to the rarity of the magic, very few know of this.
