Durvahn
Lord Durvahn is an immortal demon, Lord of the Reapers, and ruler of the Reaper Clan. He serves Anubis, the God of Death. His alignment is pure neutral: he is respectful rather than evil, loyal to Anubis, and feared across the realms.
Reapers and the Path of Judgment
Durvahn rules the demon clan of Reapers, beings who collect souls and usher them to the path of judgment to stand before Anubis. Serving the God of Death directly, he commands millions of Reapers across uncountable worlds and planes of reality.
Power and Reach
Durvahn possesses immense power. Even Lucifer respects him and avoids picking arguments with him. He can walk in Hell and on the Kingdom Plane in the heavens.
He can end immortal souls, a power that makes him feared wherever he goes. When Anubis wishes to end even a god, he sends Durvahn.
Service and Alignment
Durvahn serves Anubis directly. He is not evil; he is pure neutral, with no allegiance or alignment beyond service and obedience to Anubis and the needs of the God of Death. His role and outlook are expressed in his statement:
- “I am not your enemy. I am the hand of Anubis.”
Appearance
Durvahn has elegant features and stands 6'5" tall, with a lithe, muscular build, pale skin, pale-gray lips, long straight black hair, and piercing blue eyes. His light-gray horns curve beside his head. Dark markings surround his eyes, with tear-like lines extending down his cheeks.
Forms and Attire
He usually goes shirtless in plain dark-gray pants and thigh-high black boots, with his preferred scythe at his side. His formal attire is a tailored, Tom Ford-style all-black suit with black-diamond accents. A golden symbol of Anubis appears on his tie and on the shoulder of his jacket.
An alternate form is massive, powerful, and fearsome while remaining recognizably Durvahn.
Weapon
Durvahn's preferred weapon is a scythe. He can use it to end immortal souls.
The Great Demon Lords
Durvahn is included among the Great Demon Lords, ruling the Reapers Clan. The collective reference identifies his domain as death and souls and describes his manner as cold, ruthless, and strategic. These traits describe his conduct; his alignment remains pure neutral and his service is to Anubis.
